The Errant Republic of Menda Lerenda, R.E.M.L., is a micronation officially proclaimed in 1999 that defines the individual as an independent Republic in itself. It includes as its national territory the area occupied by its sovereign at any given time, without transgressing any other space or territory. Documentation legitimised by a Member State of the European Community certifies that any person can be sovereign of his or her own Independent Republic.

In accordance with the Intellectual Property Rights and Individual Freedom contemplated by Law, I hereby proclaim myself INDEPENDENT and establish the ERRANTING REPUBLIC OF MENDA, accepting as National territory the surface on which I have contact and my inviolable borders are those of my physical surroundings, the psychic ones being of greater reach and scope, not recognizing other authorities or foreign laws other than those based on honesty, common sense, and constructive collaboration.
